My current website has always been a placeholder until 1. I had some money to buy some hosting and a domain name, 2. I figured out what I wanted up on a website and 3. how I wanted to present it. Well I soon get another infusion of future debt (student loan) so I can purchase some hosting and a domain name, and the recent talk at GDC by Jacob Minkoff has helped me with the other 2 issues. OK so I didn’t make it to GDC this year but his presentation, “Getting Noticed: Why you need a portfolio site and how to make one” is up at GDC Vault. I’d really recommend it to anyone who hasn’t yet set up a site or like me wants to raise their game. So look out for a re-imagined, redesigned site in the coming few weeks
